A Houston teen was arrested Wednesday after stabbing his twin sister to death.
Officers responded to a stabbing call around 4:45am on the 4100 block of Brown Meadow Ct.
Upon arrival they found Benjamin Elliott,17 performing cpr on his twin sister Meghan Elliott,17.
She had multiple stab wounds to her neck.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the teen dead at the scene.
During the investigation officers learned that Benjamin called 911 and said he had stabbed his sister.
The teens parents were asleep at the time of the stabbing.
Benjamin was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
He remains in custody on a $100,000 bond.
At his court appearance Benjamin claimed he was sleeping during the time of the stabbing.
The investigation is ongoing and the family’s attorney is checking medical records to make sure Benjamin had no underlining mental health issues.
