Animals seized in ongoing animal cruelty investigation
On August 25, 2023, Dallas Police executed four search warrants in an ongoing animal cruelty investigation.
The preliminary investigation determined during the execution of one of the warrants in the 5700 block of Johnson Lane, they located a tiger in an enclosure on the property.
The tiger has been seized as part of the investigation.
Officers also seized dogs, roosters, and chickens.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Office of Law Enforcement and Texas Parks And Wildlife Department are assisting in the investigation.
The Dallas Zoo and Dallas Animal Services are also assisting the department.
Charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
***Tiger spotted and captured by animal control in the 5 mile area in Oak Cliff…
It was a large police presence involved off Ripple and Johnson.
