Video: Dallas police released surveillance footage of the armored vehicle guard murder

Dallas Police continue to ask for the public’s help to identify the two suspects involved in the homicide in the 100 block of South Carroll Avenue.  Dallas Police are releasing surveillance video of the suspects and suspect vehicle.

On September 1, 2023, at about 9:25 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 100 block of S. Carroll Avenue. 

The preliminary investigation determined a uniformed armored car guard was shot during a robbery at the location. 

The man, 52-year-old David Ruback, was taken to a local hospital where he died. 

There is no suspect description at this time, and no suspect is in custody.

The investigation is ongoing with detectives actively working leads.
