An investigation is underway after an Anna ISD officer was assaulted while trying to break up a fight between two students.
The incident occurred on February 23 after school at Anna High School. As the students were fighting an Anna ISD officer tried to intervene and break up the fight. While doing several students began attacking the officer.
Anna ISD administrators are investigating and have removed all students that were involved from school pending the outcome of the investigation.
