Sensitive Video: Father And Stepson Shot To Death By Neighbor During Argument Over Noise

An investigation is underway after a father and his stepson were shot to death by their neighbor during an argument late Sunday night.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. when officers say they responded to a shooting call in Flastbush Gardens on the 1400 block of Brooklyn Avenue.
Upon arriving they found two male victims, 47 year old Bladimy Mathurin and his stepson 27 year old Chinwai Mode, on the fourth floor in the hallway unresponsive from multiple gunshot wounds.
They were both pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police the suspect lived downstairs from the victims and they had an ongoing feud regarding the noise level in Mathurin’s apartment.
Mathurin’s wife, 48 year old Marie Luc Delille, told authorities that she apologized to the suspect and tried to explain that there were four young children inside the home.
The argument escalated and Mathurin was seen on surveillance footage going into his apartment and walking back out holding a pair of scissors.
The unidentified suspect then pulled out a handgun and fired multiple rounds striking both Mathurin and Mode in the head and body before fleeing the scene.
Officers described the suspect as a black male with a bald head wearing a blue jacket and tan boots.
At this time the suspect remains at large and the investigation remains ongoing.

Omg what city is this in, i couldn’t believe my eyes.. horrific shooting , we can not solve problems by shooting someone 2 men loss their lives because of loud noise. I couldn’t hear anything but my eyes saw this horrible thing so sad what is this world coming too. Condolences to the family who had to witness this

People need to understand these old buildings , the walls are thin and you can hear everything, this is so sad i go through this with my neighbor, when you walk it makes noise and having kids its louder…GOD bless this family and heal them …he going to jail for a long time, this is juts senseless
Why did he go in the house and come back out with scissors and show them to the man,he going to say self defense cause he pulled out a weapon first. Its so sad that two people lost their lives about some noise 🙏🏽🙏🏽JUST MY OPINION
He’s going to prison once the police or marshals catch him he cannot claim self defense the moment he was pulled away especially when the shooter toward over the father and shot him again
Her son was killed for nothing he was running for his life he was no threat at all hope he gets the death penalty
He came ready to kill, in my opinion he was fed up and premeditated this killing

He has killed before this wasnt his first time. He might didnt get caught but he has definitely done it before. But he is dead. 3 lives gone SMH
