Live Video: 4 people found dead in a home in Allen, Texas, from an apparent murder suicide Allen police say

An investigation is underway after four people, including a child, were found dead inside an Allen home Monday morning.

Around 8:45 a.m., officers were called to a residence on the 1200 block of Aberdeen Drive to perform a welfare check.

Once they arrived they spoke to a family member who said they had been locked out of the residence for a couple of hours and couldn’t get anyone to answer inside.

After a few moments other family members came to the residence and let officers inside. Once inside they discovered four deceased bodies.

At this time the identities of the victims have not been released. It was said that one of the victims was a student at Olson Elementary School.

The actual cause of death has not been released but officers believe it was a murder suicide.
