A man is in custody after he shot and killed a 25 year old man in Dallas.
On June 26 officers responded to a shooting call on the 2200 block of Lagow Street, just before 3 p.m.
When officers responded they found the victim, Zachary Lawrence, on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
While investigating authorities learned that 61 year old Christopher Peterson was responsible for the deadly shooting.
Peterson was later arrested and booked into Dallas County jail for murder. His bond is set at $1,000,000.
