Nicole Fegan, a YSL RICO trial defense lawyer, has been apprehended on gang charges.
Fegan, the attorney for Tenquarius Mender in the YSL RICO trial, is facing charges of criminal street gang activity and criminal solicitation to commit the offense of tampering with evidence.
Authorities in Atlanta say that Fegan was put on their radar as an investigation took place of a double homicide on September 27, 2022.
Detectives say that Fegan got in touch with one of the individuals involved and informed him about an active warrant for his arrest.
After that, as a preliminary hearing took place, Fegan had instructed that man to get rid of his phone before police could arrest him.
Fegan was placed in custody in the Fulton County jail.
She is known for being instrumental in having her clients disassociate from the main case against Young Thug and other supposed YSL gang members in May 2023.
Another defense attorney, Renee Rockwell, has claimed that Fegan is innocent and says Fegan has agreed to a $40,000 bond.
On Friday, at about 10 pm, Fegan was freed from jail.
