Young Thug’s nephew was arrested after he shot and killed his girlfriend outside of a home in East Point, Georgia.
East Point Police Officers responded to a residence in the 4000 block of Foxhunt Lane Tuesday afternoon.
When they arrived, they found a woman, Destiny Fitzpatrick, shot to death near the front door. Also at the crime scene was the son of Young Thug’s oldest sister, Fardereen Deonta Grier, who was crying when officers encountered him.
Initially, Grier told officers that he was fighting off two armed intruders when one of them shot his girlfriend, Fitzpatrick. He claimed he then dragged her body and asked someone to call the police.
The following day, however; Grier admitted to shooting Fitzpatrick in the face.
He was arrested and charged with murder.
