25-year-old YNG Cheese, the son of Gillie Da Kid, was fatally shot in Philadelphia on Thursday night.
Authorities say that at abut 8:24 p.m., they answered to a shooting that happened in the 5800 block of Mascher Street. They then found three people who had been suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was Devin Spady, also known as YNG Cheese, who suffered a gunshot injury to his back.
After being transported to a medical facility, YNG died from his wounds.
Many have expressed their condolences online for Gillie Da Kid, the “Million Dollarz Worth Of Game” podcaster, in the death of his son.
Detectives have noted that they are continuing to investigate the matter but are searching for a possible assailant who is a male with a light complexion, either Black or Hispanic.
