World Champion Jermall Charlo Jailed On Felony Robbery Charges

Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo is facing three counts of second-degree robbery from a dispute in July.
Charlo was arrested Wednesday but bonded out shortly after.
According to police, Charlo skipped out on paying a “large bar bill”.
His credit card declined three times.
Bar employees informed police that Charlo reported the waitress lost his card.
He then demanded her to pay the bill immediately.
Charlo is seen on surveillance video combing through the waitresses’ collection binder.
The binder contained identification and cash payments.
According to police, Charlo returned the binders empty.
The video clearly showed Charlo threatening her and yelling.
The Texas penal code states that charges can be upgraded if someone feels like they will be harmed or die.
If convicted, Charlo can face up to 20 years.
He can also face a fine up to $10,000.
Premier Boxing Champions manages Charlo.
They declined to release a statement.
