64 year-old Susan Fitton, from Boca Raton, Florida, won two $2 million Mega Millions with Megaplier prizes after a drawing on September 14.
The tickets that won matched the five numbers that were on the white balls. However, that wasn’t the case for the Mega Ball.
The retailer that sold the winning tickets to Fitton, Prip Mart in Boca Raton, will be given a $10,000 bonus commission.
The chances of actually winning anything in a Mega Millions Florida lottery ticket is 1 in 24. Additionally, the probability of matching all five white balls decreases to 1 in 12 607,306.
Since 2013, when the Mega Millions lotto began in Florida, $761 million for education has been funded. Furthermore, $772 million in prizes has been distributed to 60 million winners.
