A Virginia woman bought 40 exact lottery tickets for the same drawing and ended up winning 40 times.
Faye Hurst of Norfolk, chose to play the Pick 4 drawing’s 50/50 option.
That meant half of her wager went towards matching the numbers in their exact order and the other half would pay out for the numbers in any order.
While doing so, the 40 tickets Hurst purchased from an area 7-Eleven store matched the numbers from the Oct. 25 drawing: 2-5-8-2. Each ticket won Hurst a $2,700 prize.
Leaving her with a grand total of $108,000.
