Woman set her Tinder date on fire after he refused to give her money for car trouble

A Florida woman has been charged with attempted murder after police in Miami say she tried to set her Tinder date on fire in a hotel parking lot.
Destiny Johnson, 25, was arrested on Dec. 4, a week after the explosive episode occurred outside of a Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Miami, on Nov. 25.
Johnson met the victim for the first time on Nov. 16 when he picked her up from the Holiday Inn.
A little over a week later on Nov. 25, when he returned, things, took a turn for the worst. When he showed up, he said Johnson approached the vehicle carrying a jug filled with what appeared to be gasoline.
The suspect told him her car needed fixing and she demanded money. The victim was upset, but gave her $60 for her car issues  That’s when the woman allegedly grew irate and started pouring the gasoline into the passenger side of the man’s car.
The victim was able to escape after stopping, dropping, and rolling. Although the victim admitted to pointing a firearm on the suspect, they were not charged for any crime.
This suspect was treated for her burns, and then arrested. Her bail has been set at $30,000 or $10,000 per charge.
