A woman from Shreveport, Louisiana, who was said to be responsible for a deadly three-car wreck in 2020, has received her punishment.
43-year-old Angella Rochell Marshall was handed down a 15-year prison sentence on November 30, 2022, stated the Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office. She was found guilty of vehicular homicide back on October 25, 2020. The crash resulted in the death of a poet and youth counselor from south Louisiana, 64-year-old Lenard Pierce. The DA noted that he was pinned in his car and died at the location of the crash.
The crash occurred on October 10, 2020, at West College Street and Jewella Avenue.
The DA’s office stated that Marshall had a blood alcohol level of .184% at the time of the crash. Marshall will have to serve her 15-year sentence and won’t be given probation, parole, or a suspended sentence.
