Woman Murdered By Another Woman On Brooklyn Street

Brooklyn police are investigating after a woman was shot in the back of the head by another woman.

The incident happened around 9:30pm Wednesday night on Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights.

According to video surveillance a woman with long blonde hair, wearing black leggings with a white purse exited a white vehicle.

Once she exited the vehicle she walked up to Delia Johnson,42 and shot her in the back of the head.
The driver then walked back to her car and drove away.

Officers arrived to the scene and found Johnson unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the back of her head.

She was transported to Interfaith hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Family members say Johnson attended her brother, Mathis Johnson’s funeral and it is believed that the female suspect also attended the funeral earlier that day.

No arrest have been made at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
