Woman Leads Rowlett Police On Small Chase

A woman was arrested in Rockwall after leading police on a small chase through Rowlett with her young son in the backseat Wednesday afternoon.
A dark colored suv led police down Highway 66 into Rockwall with her 4 year old son in the backseat before stopping in front of a daycare center.
Apparently the woman was at her families house when they got into an argument and she took her young child and fled the home.
Garland PD assisted Rowlett and Rockwall with apprehending the woman.
The child was taken out of the car and unharmed after authorities busted out the back window to the suv.
The mother was eventually taken out of the car and transported to a nearby hospital for medical and mental treatment.
