Woman Injured During Shooting In White Rock Lake Apartments

A woman was injured during a shootout Wednesday night in a Dallas apartment complex.
Officers responded to a shooting call at the White Rock Lake apartments located on the 9300 block of Beck Ave.
Upon arrival officers found a woman in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds to both her legs.
She was transported to Baylor hospital with non life threatening injuries.
During investigation officers found shell casings from a pistol and rifle. They believe two men were shooting at one another and the woman was an innocent bystander that was struck.
Both men fled the scene before officers could arrive and remain at large.
This investigation remains ongoing.
