An investigation is underway after a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on a highway Monday morning.
The incident happened around 8 a.m., on I-30W near W Loop 820. Officers responded to the scene to find a woman unresponsive.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
At this time authorities are investigating this as a hit and run. No arrest have been made.
