A woman was shot and killed at a Florida gun range Thursday evening.
The incident happened around 5pm at the Hot Shot shooting range in Holly Hill on the 1800 block of N. Nova Road.
Alec Matthew Almanzar,23 and his girlfriend Ayadilis Chalas,21 went to the gun range and rented a 9mm pistol.
During this time the couple was seen on video surveillance hugging and kissing one another before Almanazar points the gun at Chalas’s head.
He is seen shooting her in the head before turning the gun on himself.
Chalas was pronounced dead at the scene and Almanazar transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Authorities believe the shooting was part of a suicide pact.
