Lancaster police are investigating a single car crash that left a woman dead early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a crash call on the 1700 block of W. Wintergreen Rd.
When officers arrived they found a 2005 Toyota Solara occupied by a female driver.
Lancaster paramedics arrived and pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
Dallas County Medical Examiners are working to positively identify the woman.
The investigation regarding how the accident occurred is underway.
