Woman Arrested In New Mexico For Deadly Dallas Shooting

A woman is being held in a New Mexico jail for the murder of a Dallas man.

On October 3, 28 year old Kayla Griffin was arrested in Bloomfield, New Mexico for capital murder.

According to reports, Dallas police responded to a shooting call last week on the 900 block of Medalist Drive.

Upon arriving they located an injured woman walking down the street with a gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital where she is expected to survive.

They then located a male victim tied up at the scene yelling for help and another male, 30 year old Deleon Williams, unresponsive with a gunshot wound.

Emergency crews pronounced Williams dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating to determine the motive and circumstances leading up to the deadly shooting.
