Woman Arrested And Charged For Attack On St. Louis Bus Driver

A woman has been arrested and charged for the assault on a St. Louis school bus driver last week.
According to reports Ty’Andra Williams,30 and her friend Tiffany Pruitt,32 have been accused of assaulting Patrula Griffin as she dropped off kids from KIPP Victory Academy elementary Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place on the 900 block of O’Fallon St and was recorded by several children and adults and posted on social media.
Apparently Williams daughter was on the bus and got into a fight with another student and was transferred to another bus and the mother got upset and met Griffin at the bus stop.
The two women began arguing before Williams approached the bus and hit Griffin with a stick and then a squeegee found on the bus.
Another woman Tiffany Pruitt,32 helped Williams drag the woman off the bus and they both continued to beat and kick the bus driver in her face and body.
Williams was arrested and charged with third degree assault, five counts of endangering a child and trespassing on a school bus. The judge set her bond at $20,000 cash only.
This investigation is ongoing.
