A woman in Tarzana, California, stated that she is thankful that a rude customer bumped into her. Because of that, the woman won $10 million.
Last November, LaQuedra Edwards placed $40 into a Lottery Scratchers vending machine. Then, “some rude person” bumped into her, and she accidentally hit the wrong button on the game. As a result, she received a 200x Scratchers ticket for $30. However, that is not what she wanted.
“He just bumped into me, didn’t say a thing, and just walked out the door,” Edwards stated.
After being disappointed that she got the wrong ticket, she went to her vehicle and started scratching. She then learned that she had won the top prize of $10 million.
“I pulled over, looked at it again, and scanned it with my California Lottery app. I just kept thinking this can’t be right” Edwards said.
With the funds, Edwards expressed her desire to purchase a home and launch a non-profit organization.
Edwards bought the ticket from Vons market. That store will receive a $50,000 bonus.
