Vito Cangini, an 80-year-old Italian man, fatally stabbed his 61-year-old wife, Natalie Kyrychok, after he took a Viagra pill.
Cangini told authorities the incident occurred between Christmas Day and Sunday. His wife had promised to sleep with him after he took the erectile dysfunction medicine, but then she changed her mind.
Cangini accused of her being more into her boss than him and proceeded to stab her.
He left his wife’s body on the floor and went to sleep. The next day, he ate breakfast and took his dog on a walk twice. He finally told a neighbor what he had done and requested that the man call authorities. The man refused.
When a woman called the residence to speak to his wife, he told her, as well, and asked that she call the police. She refused, too, possibly not believing him.
Cangini ended up calling the restaurant where his wife was employed an told the chef,” I know there was something going on between you two.” He told the chef that he would not being seeing Kyrychok ever again.
The owner contacted police who found the woman’s body. She had been stabbed four times, once in the heart.
The murder weapon was recovered, and the woman’s husband of 17 years was apprehended.
