Dallas PD’s Public Integrity Unit obtained an arrest warrant for officer Reginald Jones on October 1, for promoting and organizing a pyramid scheme.
Jones has been with the department since 2002 and is assigned to the South Central Patrol Division.
He has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of this investigation.
Further investigation resulted in grand jury referrals for participating and promoting Major David Davis, Lieutenant Giovanni Wells, Sergeant Constance Lewis, Sergeant Jennifer Wells, Sergeant Rachel Moore, Sergeant Latasha Moore, Senior Corporal Pearl McDowell, Senior Corporal Aaron Rucker, Senior Corporal Raquel Oliver, Officer Anthony Edmond, Officer Paul Logan, Officer Carlton Nelson, Reserve officer Brad Deason and civilian Sonja Davis.
All involved officers have been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
