Walmart is set to begin its drone delivery at the Walmart Supercentwr at 8555 Preston Road, in Frisco, Texas.
The grocery store has teamed up with Wing, an instant drone delivery service managed by Google’s parent company Alphabet, in order to extend the services to 60,000 residences in Dallas-Fort Worth.
In the Dallas area, this will make Walmart’s 11th drone hub. Before the year is over, there will be another close by location.
Residents can order many items including meals, food, household products, and over-the-counter medications.
The service can be used by residences within six miles of the stores from 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. However, the service will not be available on Wednesdays.
Wing has advertised that the service will make deliveries in less than 30 minutes.
