A Waco man has been arrested and charged with the murder of two store clerks in Texas.
Davonta Mathis,21 is accused of robbing and killing 32 year old Gopi Krishna Dasari at a Fox gas station in Pleasant Grove on June 24.
He is also accused of killing 60 year old Mohammad Hussain who was a night shift employee at the Family Stop Food Store on the 1700 block of Bruton Road.
Mathis is said to have walked into both stores firing and then taking multiple items before fleeing.
Surveillance footage captured a good view the car Mathis was in and after the Saturday morning attack an officer noticed the vehxike and began to pursue it. A small foot chase took place and Mathis was arrested and taken into custody.
His bond is set at $7.5 million.
