Violent Monkeys Captured After 250 Dogs Were Killed

3.6kviews

After monkeys allegedly went on a revenge rampage in the Lavool Village part of India, killing nearly 250 dogs, two of them have been caught.

The monkeys were supposedly seeking redemption after a group of dogs killed one of their babies. They have been seen pulling dogs to the tops of buildings and ensuring that they die by dropping them. They also left puppies on tops of roofs and trees so that they would perish from a lack of food and water.

Now, two monkeys connected to killing the dogs have been captured and sent off to be released in the forest.

However, officials have noted that there isn’t really any evidence that proves that the monkeys were looking for revenge.

“We do not have any proof to back up this theory. It’s animal behavior and we cannot ascertain why they are behaving like this,” one official stated.

Witnesses also saw the monkeys attempting to attack children and local men in the area.
