Passengers were evacuated from a jetliner at Houston’s main airport on Sunday due to an engine problem that occurred during takeoff.

Reports indicate that the engine issue led to smoke and fire on the right wing. United Airlines flight 1382, which was en route to New York City, came to a halt on the runway shortly after 8:30 a.m. at George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The plane was carrying 104 passengers and five crew members, and it was scheduled to arrive at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and the passengers were taken back to the terminal by bus. The FAA stated that it will investigate the incident.
