Two Suspects Arrested After Woman Found Dead In Cornfield

Two people have been arrested in connection to the death of a woman found in a Delaware cornfield.
The incident happened on August 21 when officers were called to the 2000 block of Dyke Branch Road in Dover for a deceased body.

When officers arrived they found Anna Hurst,30 unresponsive in a field with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.

During the investigation Delaware police identified Ronald D. Suber Jr.,29 and Tori L. Balfour,30, as suspects in the incident.
On August 28 both suspects were arrested in New Castle County.

Suber was charged with first degree murder, first degree attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
His bond is set at $2.5 million.

Balfour was charged with second degree conspiracy and is being held on a $2,000 secured bond.
