Two People Taken Into Custody Following Road Rage Incident That Left A 6-Year-Old Girl Paralyzed

Two people have been apprehended in relation to a road rage incident that led to a 6-year-old girl being paralyzed in Louisville, Kentucky.

On July 10, the road rage occurrence started close to I-65 North at Outer Loop. This was where individuals inside of a vehicle got into a dispute with a group of motorcyclists.

Multiple shots were fired during the incident, injuring 6-year-old Onyx, who had been riding in the backseat of the vehicle. Onyx had become paralyzed after she was hit by a bullet in her back.

Now, 33-year-old Shelby Bisconer has been apprehended after authorities say that she fired shots at the vehicle that Onyx was in, along with two other children and two adults. Bisconer has been charged with wanton endangerment.

22-year-old Edward Sark was also apprehended and charged with four counts of wanton endangerment and one count of assault. Authorities say that he fired shots at the vehicle, as well, with one of the bullets striking Onyx.

Following the occurrence, it isn’t known if Onyx will ever be able to walk again.

Bisconer and Sark appeared in court last week. Sark’s bond was set at $50,000 while Bisconer was released on home incarceration in lieu of bond.
