Authorities in Hinesville, Georgia, say that two missing Liberty County firefighters were discovered dead in Tennessee.
Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander, and Anderson’s car, were found in Cocke County, which is east of Gatlinburg.
Authorities don’t have much information, but they say that the pair had been missing since Monday, June 24. Relatives say that the two fighters were romantically involved for multiple years but had just broken up.
On Saturday, June 22, Anderson was apprehended after she confronted Kuhbander and keyed his car. That Monday, he contacted his mother, stating that Anderson was “blowing up” his phone.
At the end of last week, a recording captured Anderson putting gas in her car at a South Carolina gas station. This only led to more questions about where the pair could have been.
An investigation is continuing.
