Two Men Sentenced To Life In Prison For The 2020 Deadly Shooting Of A Philadelphia High School Student
Two men were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the 2020 murder of a Philadelphia high school student.
On Thursday the Philadelphia District Attorney announced 22 year old Saedair Lindsey and 30 year old Tyrek McWilliams conviction and sentencing.
Both men were convicted on first-degree murder, conspiracy, aggravated assault and other related charges.
Back in April of 2020 both men were seen on surveillance video hiding before they ambushed 17 year old Tahj Williams in front of a store.
It showed the two men approach Williams from behind with a gun before shooting him in the face and body.
Williams was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Two other teens were also injured during the shooting.
After further investigating detectives determined the deadly shooting was a case of mistaken identity.
