An investigation is underway after two men were killed during a crash in Dallas.
On November 12, 2023, at about 5:00 am, Dallas Police responded to a crash in the 6700 block of Military Parkway.
The preliminary investigation determined a car driven by 23-year-old Joel Rosales-Perez, was traveling eastbound and went off the road, hitting a vehicle and then two people standing outside of the car.
The suspect vehicle continued back into the eastbound lanes and then hit a light pole.
The two people hit outside the car died at the scene. One victim is identified as 21-year-old Lester Matute-Urquea, the second will be identified with the help of the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Rosales-Perez was charged with two counts of Intoxication Manslaughter and taken to the Dallas County Jail.
