Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured and two other dead late Sunday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 300 block of South Merrifield Rd and when they arrived they found a 40 year old Latin male lying on the ground between parked vehicles and a 55 year old Latin male slumped over in a pickup truck suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. They were both transported to a nearby hospital where they later died.
Police later found that another 30 year old Latin male at the scene was shot in the wrist and also transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Witnesses say the victims and witnesses were all hanging out drinking before the two deceased victims got into a verbal altercation that led to the deadly shooting.
