Two Drug Suppliers Charged In Connection With The Fentanyl Overdose Death Of A Carrollton Teen
Texas authorities arrested two people in connection with the fentanyl overdose death of a 15 year old Carrollton girl.
19 year old Lizbeth Prieto admitted to authorities that 24 year old Cristian Lopez was her supplier and that she sold the fentanyl pills to the 15 year old teen.
The teen passed away on June 13 after a family member found her unresponsive in her bedroom.
She was a student at Newman Smith High School and the fourth child to pass away in the Carrolton area since September 2022 of fentanyl overdose.
Prieto and Lopez were charged via criminal complaint with conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances.
The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office is also considering filing state charges for murder against the two.
