Two Bodies Found in South Texas Park Believed to be Missing Mother and 3 Year Old Son

The Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old Kaiden Kriger from San Antonio was canceled after officials discovered two bodies in a park.

Kaiden was last seen getting picked up from daycare by his mother, 32-year-old Savannah Kriger, who went missing after leaving the daycare Monday after 2 p.m.

Authorities were made aware of the situation around 6 p.m. when family members expressed their concerns about the mother and son’s whereabouts and well-being.

A search of their home confirmed these allegations, and investigators were able to ping her location to Tom Slick Park. Due to the darkness, the search was called off and rescheduled for daylight.

On Tuesday morning, the body of a small child and a woman believed to be Savannah and Kaiden, were discovered at the park.

A weapon was found at the scene and police say they are investigating the case as a murder-suicide.

The mother was expected to be in court on Tuesday for an ongoing custody battle with Kaiden’s father.
