TSA Finds Dog In Carry On Bag At Airport

A small dog was discovered by the Transportation Security Administration inside of a carry-on backpack. The animal was found as the carry-on bag went through the X-Ray machine at an airport in Wisconsin.

TSA reported that the passenger didn’t know of the screening guidelines and didn’t inform security officers about the pet.

An officer provided the proper protocol and validated that she told them that she was flying with a pet. The woman was then allowed to continue to her gate.

“A dog was accidentally sent through the X-Ray at the Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin this week,” TSA announced on Tuesday.

Animals have to be taken out of cases and the bare carrier sent through the screening device, the agency added.

“When traveling with an animal, notify your airline and know their rules,” TSA says.
