46-year-old Shanny Grady, from Arkansas, has been sentenced to five life sentences after he was found guilty of raping a boy, 15.
In December, Carleena Hawkins pleaded guilty to raping the boy, too. She received 35 years in prison.
In 2020, the juvenile victim told an older family member that Grady and Hawkins had been sexually abusing him every other weekend for two years. He had reportedly just been to a medical facility after bleeding from his anus.
The victim told authorities that Grady told him to figure out which preference he liked. Then, he performed oral sex on the boy and instructed Hawkins to do so, too. The victim resisted but became scared of Grady. He also didn’t think that Hawkins wanted to perform the actions.
Additionally, Grady, a truck driver, was accused of always being drunk during the occurrences. The victim said he forced him to “put his penis in [Hawkins’s] vagina and anus.”
Reports indicate that the victim now thinks he is going to Hell and is feeling “ashamed, degraded, and used.”
