Trooper Bragged About “Beating The Ever-Living F—” Out Of Black Man As He Was Dying

In the audio that has just been released, Louisiana Master Trooper Chris Hollingsworth said that he was a victim. This came after he tased and beat a Black man with a flashlight and punched him in a deadly arrest.

In 2019, Hollingsworth boasted about bashing “the ever-living f—” out of Ronald Greene. Over a year later, he told investigators that his actions were caused by him fearing for his life.

“I was scared. He could have done anything…,”Hollingsworth told officials.

State police had first told Greene’s relatives that he passed away in a car wreck. But, in 2020, they released a recording of the violent apprehension. In it, Greene could be heard telling the troopers, “I’m your brother! I’m scared! I am scared.”

None of the officers involved were charged for Greene’s wounds or death during the incident that occurred in May 2019. However, it is under federal investigation. Hollingsworth interviewed with internal affairs, but that information couldn’t be used against him.

He died after his car slammed into a guardrail six days after finding out that he was terminated.

Hollingsworth had disclosed to authorities that he wasn’t trying to kill Greene but just wanted to get his arm loose. However, a phone call he made to another officer was recorded on his body cam. He eventually turned off.

“I beat the ever-living f— out of him, choked him and everything else trying to get him under control. All of a sudden, he just went limp…I thought he was dead.”

Greene is said to have died on the way to the hospital.

“It pisses me off to know that we have the video of him stating those words, beating Ron senseless. No one stepped in to stop him, and three years later, no arrests have been made,” stated Greene’s sister.

Hollingsworth’s death was ruled to be a homicide. Many believe his death was a suicide. He is said to have been a driving instructor and was sober with no seat belt on when he wrecked.

Detectives say that because Hollingsworth died, the investigation has taken longer. However, the DA has stated that criminal charges against the remaining officers will be coming.
