A mobile home fire in northwest Dallas early Saturday morning led to the tragic deaths of one person and three dogs.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at 2600 Lombardy Lane just before 6:30 a.m. and encountered flames coming from the back of a mobile home, along with two nearby vehicles.

The fire rapidly spread to a second mobile home and two more vehicles, prompting firefighters to initiate a two-alarm response.

Inside one of the homes, they found an unresponsive man who was taken to a local hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. His identity has not yet been disclosed.

Ultimately, the fire resulted in the loss of three dogs. By the time the blaze was brought under control shortly before 9 a.m., four mobile homes and four vehicles had suffered damage.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
