Three Officers Terminated by Interim DPD Chief for Separate Violations

The following officers were terminated during disciplinary hearings conducted on November 14, 2024, under Interim Police Chief Igo.

Sergeant Ruben Lozano, #9732, Central Patrol Division, was dismissed for engaging in sexual conduct while on duty, providing false information during an internal investigation, and exhibiting inappropriate behavior during his arrest for Assault Bodily Injury – Family Violence and Unlawful Restraint on warrants issued by the Irving Police Department.

Senior Corporal James Goetz, #9565, Special Victims Division, was dismissed for misconduct related to his arrest by the Pilot Point Police Department for Driving While Intoxicated.

Police Officer Kristin Henry, #11215, Northeast Patrol Division, was dismissed for breaching the Off-Duty Employment Policy, violating the Body Worn Camera Policy, and engaging in misconduct by receiving wage supplementation while performing off-duty jobs in a light duty capacity.
