Three convicted felons were jailed after an investigator recognized their bathroom in a recording that one of them had posted on Instagram.

All of the suspects are brothers, with two of them being twins.

According to NBC News24, at the end of June, detectives in Ocala, Florida, became aware of the recording that shows the defendant standing in a restroom, performing a rap song.

The investigator was talking about Elijah Lee Hanks. He has the numbers ‘352’ tattooed on his neck. However, his twin brother does not.

Afterwards, the investigator stated that Hanks had shown the entire bathroom. This included curtains tiles on the shower and a wooden door connected to a medicine cabinet. He had recognized those components of the bathroom inside the home because he had previously had to get a search warrant there.

Most importantly, the investigator had seen a black firearm, although Hanks was a recently convicted felon, and a big bag of what seemed to be marijuana, resting on the bathroom vanity.

When a search of the residence was done on July 1, 19-1 oz. bags of marijuana and the same firearm, which was loaded, were found, as well.

Hanks was charged due to these offenses and because of the suspected distribution within a thousand feet of a worship center.

What’s more, while searching the home further, authorities also found a backpack, containing clear packages, with green leafy substances inside. They found the ID card of Hank’s twin brother, Elisha Hanks, along with it.

The detective recalled seeing the other 19 bags of marijuana, a scale, and other drug paraphernalia on the recording. The caption read, ‘shop open,’ signifying the sale of marijuana.

He also recognized the defendant by the tattoo on his throat.

Elisha Hanks became a convicted felon in February of this year. He stated that he did not possess any marijuana or handguns in the home. However, he was still charged with the same offenses as his twin brother.

Joelle Hanks, the twins’s older brother, was stopped by police as he was leaving the home. He was charged with a misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Joelle was released on a $2,500 bond within 36 hours.

The twin brothers remain jailed.
