Three Arrests Made After Upset Customer Opens Fire at Frisco Wendy’s

Three arrests have been made after an unsatisfied customer opened fire at a Frisco Wendy’s.

On Wednesday, August 17th around 8 p.m. Frisco Police Officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Wendy’s on Eldorado Pkwy, just off U.S Hwy 75.

According to surveillance footage and witness statements, a drive-thru customer got upset when they received their order and went inside the restaurant to complain. After getting into a dispute with the workers, the suspect went back to his vehicle and retrieved a pistol. He then walked back towards the front doors of the restaurant and began shooting.

No one was struck by the gunfire, however, there was damage was done to the building.

Through the course of their investigation, Frisco detectives identified the suspect as 19-year-old Christian Ellis and arrested him on Friday.

Ellis is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Two other occupants in the vehicle at the time of the incident, Tyran McLeod, 19, and Shaquita Glaspie, 33, were also arrested. They have been charged with Failure to Report a Felony.

Ellis was released on a $100,000 bond and McLeod was released on a $5,000 bond. Glaspie’s bond was set at $5,000, she is currently in the Collin County Jail.
