Three Suspects Arrested in Connection To The Murder Outside LeBron James’ School

US Marshals assisted in arresting three suspects in the murder of 17 year-old Ethan Liming.

On the night of June 2, Liming and three others drove to the parking lot of LeBron James’ I Promise School in Akron, OH, and fired rounds of water bead guns at people on the basketball court. Police are unsure if Liming was firing any rounds.

A fight began which ended with police finding Liming unconscious and beaten to death on the ground.

With the help of the community, Akron police and US Marshals identified suspects and issued homicide warrants.

Authorities arrested Donovan Jones, 21, Tyler Stafford, 19, and Deshawn Stafford Jr, 20, in connection to the death of Liming.

There is currently no evidence of a hate crime.
