Texas Teen, Mikaila Ulmer, Becomes Multi-Millionaire At The Age 11 With Lemonade Company

A young girl, from Texas, became a CEO of her own multi-million dollar company when she was just 11.

Although she was young, Mikaila Ulmer, started her own brand of lemonade and received an $11 million contract from Whole Foods in 2016.

Mikaila, who is now 17, had come up with the thought when she was four years old and had gotten an old cookbook from her great-grandmother.

Although the book was old and raggedy, Mikaila discovered a recipe for flaxseed lemonade from the 1940s. She then decided to test it out.

She began to sell the lemonade outside of her home and added her own special ingredient: honey.

The whole idea came about after Mikaila was stung by a bee two times and was horrified after that.

After analyzing bees and their importance, she found out the ramifications if bees were to become extinct.

Thus, Mikaila chose to put honey in her 1940 recipe and also encourage the protection of bees, simultaneously. This resulted in Mikaila’s Me & the Bees Lemonade.

“I decided to give her beloved lemonade a new twist by adding honey from bees, instead of only sugar,” she noted on her website.

“That’s how Be Sweet Lemonade was born,” Mikaila added.
