A Denison pastor was arrested Thursday on child pornography violations.
According to reports David Pettigrew,48 was arrested after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted local law enforcement regarding information that a computer user had uploaded suspected child pornography onto their online platforms.
Homeland Security Investigations agents executed federal search warrants at Pettigrew’s home and Denison Church of the Nazarene on Thursday.
Pettigrew was arrested and if charged faces a minimum of five years and up to 20 years in federal prison.
Pettigrew has been a pastor at the Denison Church of the Nazarene since 2006.
