A man has been arrested after he bit off a piece of his girlfriend’s nose during a dispute, authorities in San Antonio say.
In July 2023, two weeks following a separation between the suspect, 34-year-old David Morin and his former girlfriend, Morin had called and harassed the victim several times in the day.
When the victim hadn’t called Morin back, he went to her residence and broke into the home at about 1 a.m.
After he broke out her windows and got inside, he discovered the woman’s employment documents. This started a fight between the two as the victim was looking to work at a gentleman’s club, authorities stated.
Morin is accused of choking the woman before letting go after several seconds. When she headed toward her front door, Morin is said to have pulled her shoulders and bit her nose, detaching a piece as he did so.
Morin left the location, and the woman was transported to a medical facility where she had to seek assistance from a plastic surgeon.
On Friday, Morin was apprehended and charged with Aggravated Assault causing Serious Bodily Injury.
