Texas Football Coach Collapses And Dies During Football Game On Friday Night

On Friday, Marco Contreras, the football coach at Kingsville Gillette Middle School, in Corpus Christi, Texas, died after he collapsed during the high school’s game against Tuloso-Midway.

After he collapsed, first responders attempted to perform life-saving measures but were unsuccessful.

Contreras, who was said to be in his 40s, was not only a coach, but was also a teacher at CARE Academy.

The Kingsville High School football match against Tuloso-Midway was rescheduled to Saturday night.

Tuloso-Midway made entry to the game free and accepted donations for Contreras’s family.
